Type of Tx wireless charging and transmitting scheme

Wireless charging transmitter Tx (Transport) for short.From the perspective of chip integration, the current mainstream wireless charging and transmitting schemes in the market can be roughly divided into SoC scheme, MCU master control + power full-bridge scheme and wireless charging mobile power scheme.


1. Wireless charging SoC chip scheme

SoC stands for System on a chip, which refers to the integration of a complete System on a single chip.At present, the relatively common DEFINITION of SoC solution is: SoC is the integration of master control and driver.But there are voices that this is not accurate, master control, driver, MOS is the real SoC.The soCs described below include both types.

SY03 is a highly integrated analog front end for wireless charging transmitter, which contains all the analog components needed to implement a TRANSMITTER conforming to the WPC standard.SY03 integrates a full-bridge power driver, MOSFET, current detection amplifier, bootstrap circuit, communication demodulator, linear regulator and protection circuit.

SY03 can be used in conjunction with transmitter controllers to create high-performance wireless power transmitters that comply with WPC V1.2.4 Extended Power Profile (EPP) and Baseline Power Profile (BPP).Once an EPP receiver is detected, the transmitter will provide up to 15W of output power.If a BPP receiver is present, the transmitter only provides up to 5W of output power.
